Thy Kingdom Come!
Mexico City, Fall 2025
Dear Friends, peace,
I hope you enjoyed a relaxing summer! It’s usually a quieter time for me to catch up on office work. In my last letter, I mentioned our efforts to create informative videos about our work. We’ve now produced five, accessible via links in the attached picture report. I also shared that we translated the first volume of our School of Faith manuals into Swahili. The second volume is out, and the third is being edited, which is vital for our work in Southeast Africa where Swahili is widely spoken.
Our annual Mass for friends and benefactors on September 15 at the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe was beautiful. I hope many of you were able to join online. Exciting news: The School of Faith is giving classes in the Republic of South Africa for the first time, bringing the Gospel’s light to a country facing tough times. In July, I visited Malawi to meet with leaders and mothers superior using our program to train their new vocations.
Thanks to your generosity, we’re now supporting five more priests in need with monthly aid. Many of you know Father Pablo, the Spanish missionary priest who helps thousands of homeless or very poor people. He has been transferred to a new, even poorer parish in Mexico City. The “new” rectory was a complete ruin, but thanks to generous help from the USA, we were able to start fixing it. Have a look at the pictures!
Please keep our agricultural projects in northwest Mexico in your prayers, as they’re facing challenges due to international trade and complicated Mexican politics. I am praying for you, your family and your intentions.
With blessings,

Fr. Robert
P.S. I mentioned we were able to start helping five new, very poor priests, sending them a monthly grant of $200. Unfortunately, we had to turn down 5 more priests (from Malawi, Nicaragua, El Salvador and Zambia) due to lack of funds. If you want to help one of them, visit our website: www.canelacharity.org!
